Always be prepared for the storms of life, and predetermine your heart. When your heart is not fixed on the Lord there is no stability in you at all, there is no roots in you. When your heart wavers, all satan has to do is put you in a compromising situation. True believers don’t plan to depart from God, they just fail to prepare their heart before temptation comes suddenly upon them. People walk away from God step by step through unbelief, fear, and hardened hearts. You need to get to a place where you commit yourself to God, to where sin is not an option. Set limits and set standard for yourself, this also includes for those you surround yourself with. If you don’t incline your heart to the things of God, you will forget the things of God.
