Ephesians 4:26

And “don’t sin by letting anger gain control over you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry.

Anger is a natural human emotion. To be angry is not a sin, but how we respond to anger can be. Releasing anger creates more anger and by reacting to our anger we allow others to control our emotions. Giving full vent to our anger never changes the situation. In fact, it only makes it worse. We always loose when we give in to our anger; we regret things that are said and done and we alienate and hurt the people we love the most. Also, when anger is left to fester it become bitterness and the Lord can’t work in our heart if there’s bitterness. Let us pray for the Lords help when dealing with anger. May He guide us to think before we speak and reflect before we react.  Also, remember if we respond by overcomeing evil with good sometimes it will leave the most powerful impact.
