Failure Isn’t Final

Proverbs 24:16

“For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.”

Falling is a fact of life. You are not a failure for falling, you only truly fail if you refuse to get up. Each and every one of us will fall again as long as we are still in these bodies of flesh. However it is at that point, what we then do with our failure that will reveal what kind of person we really are. The enemy tries to deceive us into believing that we are failures bringing forth thoughts that we should just give up and what’s the use of trying again. He wants us weak and self loathing so that he can take over our lives and keep us in our sin. We shouldn’t tolerate failure in our lives. When we mess up, we shouldn’t give up because even when we wander God is there. God knows how to draw us back, and helps us to repent and grow from our experience. God does not see failure as final but the person who refuses to repent, get up and try again can become stuck there for a long time. We serve the God of another chance. And God just like a parent does not scold the child for falling, but puts the child back on his feet and says, “Together, let’s try that again.” If you’ve fallen down, let the Lord help you rise back up because failure isn’t final. 🙅🏻‍♀️
