2 Corinthians 12:9

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

God’s grace is complete in our weakness. We never really experience His grace unless we see the need for it. The power of Jesus’ grace is not fully seen until our weakness is fully acknowledged. We often do not like to admit that perhaps there is something weak in us. However, we should realize that our weakness reveals our constant need for dependence upon God. We should allow our weaknesses to be a reminder of our need to lean and rely on God. Rather than trying to trust in our own power and abilities, we should understand our human limitations and humbly confess our need for God’s limitless power. By faith, we must trust in Him whatever situation we may be facing. Whether it is our fears, temptations, physical limitations, difficult circumstances, or personality traits that may be considered weaknesses, God’s power is enough to overcome them. His grace is sufficient and He wants to be with us every step of the way to provide us with the strength we need to get through anything. We just need to trust and rely on His power and abilities.
