Thirsty Souls

John 4:-15 

But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

Our need for love is like our need for water: continuous. A single cup of water will not sustain us for a month, and a single experience of a friendship/relationship will not sustain us for a lifetime. We long for more, wanting to know we are loved and valued. The only one who can fulfill this longing is Jesus. He offers us a life-giving water in which He said, “drink once and be satisfied forever.” He is offering Himself to us—all we have to do ask. How often do we go through the day, forgetting to invite Jesus in? Jesus desires to satisfy our deepest needs and transform us into His image, bringing life and hope. His love is everlasting, one that is loyal and unconditional. He will never forsake us so let us remember to never forsake Him and include Him in everything we do.
