If you can just blend in this world and nobody can tell you are a believer then something is wrong. If you are just fine with everything and it doesn’t bother you to watch or hear evil things then you are already deceived. We live among the ungodly, and the Bible says, where iniquity abounds the love of many will wax cold. We need to be careful. When you are constantly hearing and seeing all of the ungodliness in our world it has a tendency to harden you heart towards God and make you insensitive and cold towards Him. Many of us think we know the bible so well, yet are we applying it to our lives? If not, then the Lord’s word hasn’t reached the depth of your soul. And if it hasn’t reached the depth of your soul the what good is your knowledge? We can’t always control what’s going on in this world, however we can control our hearts from growing hard and our love from waxing cold. Those who endure to the end shall be saved. Keep your heart steadfast on God and you will not be one of those who fall away.
